Depending on the size of your order, we will select the most cost-effective mode of transportation, whether Parcel or Less-Than-Truckload (LTL), to minimize your shipping expenses. Given the weight and dimensions of certain ready-to-assemble cabinets, UPS or FedEx options are not feasible. Freight rates are automatically determined based on shipment weight, destination zip code, and the optimal carrier for your region. Due to fluctuating fuel prices and shipping costs, the quoted shipping price on our website is subject to modification at our discretion. We reserve the right to adjust shipping costs when necessary.

Residential delivery entails curbside drop-off at your residence and does not include inside delivery or additional accessories. If you are unable to manage curbside delivery independently, please arrange for assistance. In some instances, if the shipment is too heavy for the driver to unload entirely at once, your assistance may be required to remove the cabinet order from the delivery truck. Thus, it is crucial to have someone present who can assist if needed.

Lead times and shipping durations vary depending on the product type and your location. Lead times may range from 3-5 business days to 2-3+ weeks. For specific lead times for cabinets, please consult the respective style page. After the product is picked up by the shipping company, shipping times span from 1 to 5 days, contingent on your proximity to the shipping origin. For precise shipping details concerning your situation, please reach out to us directly.

Please ensure that the delivery address is accurate when placing your order. DIY Cabinets RTA will not be held responsible for any address errors made by the purchaser during checkout. In the event that you discover a shipping address error, please promptly contact us to rectify the mistake. If we can correct the error before your shipment departs our facility, no additional charges will be incurred.

Storage fees will be assessed for any order held for more than 10 business days at a rate of $35.00 per day. Any special requests for order retention must be made before purchase.

To submit a valid freight claim, any visible damages to shipments or discrepancies in piece counts must be documented on the Bill Of Lading. Photographs of damages are also required. The driver must supply the recipient with an exception number from the carrier’s terminal before departing.

Natural Wood Disclaimer

Variations in color and grain are inherent features of wood. Changes in color, especially for finished wood, may occur due to exposure to light and environmental factors. These variations and color changes are not considered defects and are therefore not covered under our claims process or warranty.

Finishes/Glazes/Distressing

Variations in the hand-applied finishes and glazes of our cabinetry contribute to the unique appearance of each piece. These variations are not indicative of material or workmanship defects.

If you opt to purchase pints and apply them to unfinished wood, please be aware that the final result may not be an exact match. Factors such as wood species, grain, and porosity must be considered.

Changes to Finishes or Product Design

DIY Cabinets RTA may make modifications to products based on supplier availability and as changes or enhancements are introduced. However, there is no obligation to apply these changes to previously manufactured products. If a warranty claim is filed after a product or finish becomes obsolete, Country Kitchens reserves the right to honor the warranty in the following ways:

  • To replace the affected component with a new component of the same style.
  • To replace the affected component with another component(s) to achieve a similar appearance with a style that is comparable in terms of appearance, color, design, or construction, based on current product offerings.
  • In cases where components are replaced, DIY Cabinets RTA cannot guarantee an exact match in terms of finish and appearance to the originally purchased components.
